First post!
Omg I love this!! So a little background on WHY Hixlifts exists… So a few years ago, I got REALLY into the gym. Like im going everyday, spending hours because it was just fun! At the time, gym content was just getting big, and I love making fun videos, so I made an account! The original name was actually Kinesiology.Kay but wound up getting changed, as you can probably tell!
Anyways, I loved doing that, and eventually got a little audience… and of course that’s when I got burnt out and stopped posting. After a year of not posting, I deactivated the account and gave up. I was still going to the gym but I didn’t really love it, or the content as much anymore. I also wasn’t super happy with my body so I think that contributed at the time.
A year or so later, I got my DREAM job! I was a fitness coach for someone I admired for so long, and it was everything I could have ever dreamed of! I was so excited, and that was kind of the spark that reignited Hixlifts, and the passion behind it. During the time, I got to coach so many AMAZING women, and they truly changed my life.. I seriously wouldn’t be here without them. After a while and a lot of big life changes, it became time for me to make a decision. Either finally fulfill my dream of having my own fitness program, or move onto something else…. so, I took the leap and decided now was finally the time!
So, here I am! I have only had this website for a few days, but it is already something I am so proud of. I really REALLY hope that I can use this program, and my platform to grow something HUGE! I feel that my calling in life is to contribute to God’s kingdom by utilizing my talents and love. Leading others, and fitness. It brings me so much joy to watch women come into my coaching, not feeling their best, not loving themselves in the mirror, and leave feeling like an entirely new person. That kind of change is something that lasts for life, and its not just because of my coaching. Those kind of transformations come with a firm foundation of trust, in yourself, in me, and with God. Knowing that you have been given the strength to do all things through His name, and finally doing the things you’ve put off for forever, will truly change the way you see yourself, and the way you see God. Being able to fully appreciate the body, and the beauty that God gave you, made in his own image, will light you up inside like nothing else. If I do nothing else in this life, at least I know that I made someone finally feel confident, beautifully and wonderfully made!
